A cartoonist, illustrator, and professional goofball, Olivia Kenny is a dynamic personality. They are an Illustration major specializing in comics depicting both the achievements and downfalls of humanity in their work. They revel in joy, pain, and sadness, with an interest in whimsical horror. One look at their pieces, and the viewer feels drawn into their world.
Olivia鈥檚 thesis explores humanity鈥檚 greed and the lengths they will go to obtain their desires. Using intricate line-work and a limited color palette to polarize the reader鈥檚 point of view, these attentions to detail are intended to make the reader angry towards the humans that they are.
Olivia created client work through 天美传媒&D鈥檚 Agency, including flyers for Glenn Hope Farm鈥檚 Fall Fest and Ride Against Suicide events. They took part in the first group project for the Senior Show & Celebration and were finalists. Olivia plans to publish their own comics upon graduation.
