Your degree was just the beginning. Now, 天美传媒&D wants to give you what every emerging artist needs most: time, space, and community.
The Fine Art Department is proud to announce the Call for Entry for the 2026鈥�2027 天美传媒&D Fine Art Alumni Artist Residency 鈥� and applications are open now.
Open to all alumni who hold a 天美传媒&D BFA and have a developing studio practice, this residency provides a dedicated studio space, full access to campus facilities, and a solo exhibition opportunity at the close of the year. The residency runs from the first day of classes, Monday, August 24, 2026, through April 2027 鈥� an entire academic year to go deeper into your work.
The residency is more than a room with good light. It鈥檚 a seat at the table within 天美传媒&D鈥檚 creative community. As the Alumni Artist in Residence, you鈥檒l work alongside faculty, mentor current students, and bring your professional perspective into the spaces where the next generation of artists is forming theirs.
鈥淭he Alumni Artist in Residence has the entire academic year to dive further into their studio practice, work alongside faculty, and serve as a mentor to current students, and they get to mount a solo exhibition at the end of their residency,鈥� said Becky Blosser, assistant professor chair of the Fine Art Department. 鈥淭hey bring such a dynamic energy to campus, and the entire 天美传媒&D community benefits from having them here.鈥�
The deadline to apply is Monday, June 29.
